Obituary of Julius Katona

KATONA, Julius passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 25, 2024 at Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Home in his 93rd year. Dear father of Wendy White of Simcoe, Linda and Scott Kemp of Waterford and Drew MacDonald of Port Dover. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kerry and Rick, Shannon and Spanky, Michael, Casey and Melissa, Scotty and Kayla, Jamie and DJ. Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Kristen, Kaylee, Jaxon, McKenna, Jake, Alexander, Nate and Madie.  Cherished great-great grandfather of Hayes. Predeceased by his wife Joan, daughter Debra, parents Jim and Rebecca and great grandson Cody. Julius loved being outdoors tending to his garden and having a coffee with his friends at Tim's and the Dairy Bar. A Celebration of Life will be held  on Sunday, January 26th at the Scout Hut in Port Dover from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530.
