Obituary of Roxanne Hamilton

HAMILTON Roxanne It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Roxanne Hamilton, of Port Dover,ON, and Northport, PEI, on March 21, 2024, aged 62, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 30, 1961 in Tyne Valley PEI. She was the devoted wife of Floyd, and cherished  mother to Jessica, of Port Dover, and Jacob (Jamie ), of Port Dover. Loving sister of Pam (Chris), of Oklahoma. Loving aunt to Joel (Sydney), of Port Dover. Loving great-aunt to Scarlett and Ivy. Loving fur mama to Lola. Roxanne had a great interest in food, trying new recipes and testing them out on family and friends. She also loved to travel, spending many vacations on her beloved PEI, before finally buying a house in Northport, in 2021, lovingly called the “Lobster Lounge”. The Hamilton family would like to say a special thank you to all their family and friends who provided their love and support to Roxanne and to all of us over the years. Also, to the staff at the Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Department, and the staff on 3E, for your exceptional care during this difficult time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover, ON. (519) 583-1530. As per Roxanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Roxanne’s memory, made to the Port Dover Lifeline Foodbank or the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
