Armand was born and raised in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, attended university in Halifax and Toronto, and forged a career in child mental health at Izaak Walton Killam Children's Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Armand loved music and being out in nature. He was an avid fisherman and bird watcher. He also enjoyed playing bridge and other card games. He felt strongly about volunteering in his community and was on the Board of Health for Hants East, Nova Scotia and later also on the Board of Directors for the Dover Coast Condominium. His gregarious nature endeared him to many of the people with whom he came in contact. He will be missed by many. I would like to extend thanks and great appreciation to our good friends in the community for their support during this difficult time.
