Obituary of Norma Foley

FOLEY, Norma Frances Ellen of Hamilton (Predeceased by her husband Donald Leitch)   passed away on February 18, 2022 at Dover Cliffs LTC in her 75th year. Dear sister of Roger "Ferh" Foley of Hamilton, Ronald "Red" Foley of Brantford, Julia Foley of Port Dover and Patricia (Victor) Foley-Levesque of Brantford, Sister-in-law Dianne (Phillip) Foley (Dundas) Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Betty and Frank and brothers Phillip and Frank.

Norma was a dedicated nurse at the former Psychiatric Hospital in Hamilton for 21 years. She was an avid gardener, had an immense love for the RIDE whether it be horses, motorcycles or fast cars. She also had a college degree in computer programming when it was DOS. She was known to be creative in her writing, wood working and art work. She had a "small" collection of Harley Davidson Memorabilia, Betty Boop and Frogs .

At this time the Family would like to Thank some special people in Norma's life. Her best friend and long time neighbor Judy Newman, the many PSW's whom did her home care , all the staff at Dover Cliffs and the health professionals; especially, Dr. Eldon Tunks and most of all to her sister Julia Foley for being Norma's greatest friend in this chapter of her life.

 In keeping with Norma's wishes cremation has taken place with all services being private. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530.
