Celebration of Life
Obituary of Linda Kimmons
LITTLE LINDA - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Marie Kimmons of Port Dover, Ontario, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the day after her 73rd birthday. Loving mother of Nisa (James) Lewis and Erin (Blaine) Abbott, treasured Gramma to Jessica, Samantha, and Aliyah. Linda was born on February 14, 1949, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, to Maribel Woodill (Allen) and Harold (Sandy) Woodill. She is survived by her siblings, David, Brian, Debbie, Paul, Philip, Ruth, Sheila, and Sharon. She is predeceased by her brother Gary. Linda attended Seneca College for Social Work, but she spent many years cooking for the lovely people of Port Dover at the Norfolk Tavern. She loved life, dancing, and socializing with friends and family. She had a passion for gardening, fashion, and she loved live music. Little Linda lived in numerous places across Canada, but she loved Port Dover the most. She made many beautiful connections and friendships and loved her small town. Linda had so much living left to do, and she will be greatly missed. Surely, she is dancing in a garden somewhere. Celebration of life to be held at a later date. For those wishing to honour Linda's memory, please plant a tree, some flowers, or do something nice for a neighbour. And, always remember, when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, she hopes you dance.
