Obituary of Stanley Robert McMillan

McMILLAN, Stanley Robert, with his loving family at his side, Stan passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved husband and buddy of Mary Avila (Ave) McMillan. Loving father of Debbie (Ralph) Keefer, Doug (Lori) McMillan, Darlene (Richard) Yardley, Cheryl (Carl) Bomberry, Scott Wenige and Morgan (Tia) Wenige. Proud grandpa of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Bill (Bev) Ray and Terry (Judy) Ray of London. Stan is predeceased by his parents Kate and Fred McMillan and his sister Edna Marie McMillan. Stan was a true sportsman at heart. Friends are invited to share their memories of Stan at visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover 519-583-1530 on Wednesday, September 19, 2018  from 7 pm to 9 pm. A Service to Celebrate Stan's life will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11 am. The Reverend Kathryn Vance officiating.
