We came to know Bill in the 90's from playing baseball on the 'Brig' team. Oh the fun we all had, the legendary silo parties, the after game karaoke at the Norfolk, and all the hilarious stories still told today! Our sincere condolences to Bill's families. He will be missed.

Bill was our neighbour for the first few years when we first moved to Port Dover. He was kind and generous with his time and also the fruits of his garden offering us an amazing supply of perennials, bringing over bouquets for my elderly mother who lived with us and checking our house in our absence. He often sat out on his back verandah with his guitar, singing all the old songs while we sat on our front deck reading and watching the fireflies and enjoying the ambience! We really missed him when he moved to be closer to family and now the news of his passing, brings only good memories back! Rest In Peace Bill with the knowledge that you have positively touched our lives.

Bill did play by a different drummer. New him in my earlier years at Nanticoke. Remember him liking to to play ball and floor hockey I believe. He was the “like the Fonz in happy days in the earlier years. “ cool” Sad to say in his later years he was involved in a serous accident. His suffering continued with other health problems. He held his spirit and head high.
Still the fonz.
Rest In Peace Bill
