Obituary of Lillian "Jean" Wright

WRIGHT, Lillian "Jean" (nee Clendinning) Born in Ingersoll on April 21, 1918 Jean passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday February 16, 2018 in her 100th year. Reunited with her adored husband and soul mate Robert List (Joe) Wright February 21, 1920 - February 12, 2002. Affectionately remembered by son Ronald (Carol), daughter Bonnie (Michael) and special family  friend Judy and her late husband Ron Oke. Adored fondly by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.  Predeceased by her parents Lillian and Fred Clendinning, siblings Isabel (Albert), Jim (survived by Jean), baby brother Robert, Richard (Dorothy), Donald (Beatrice) and cherished granddaughter Dawn Marie (survived by Peter). Jean started her working career at the Ingersoll Hospital followed by many years as a clerk for Sears and Eatons. She was a proud member of the United Commercial Travelers. Our family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Norview Lodge and Maple Crescent staff to Jean over the 3 years as a resident. Friends are invited to meet with family to share memories of Jean on Wednesday February 21, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in memory of Jean on Thursday February 22, 2018 at 10 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church corners of Market and St. George Sts. Rev. Tony Bouwmeester officiating. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or the Norview Lodge Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by family.
