Dear Ilene, David and I are so very sad to hear of Ken's passing - we have been so lucky to have been friends for over 50 years to this funny, caring man. I know how much he loved you and his family, and of course, all the great dogs he had over the years. Jetta will be missing her afternoon naps with Daddy! I also know how very much he appreciated all you did for him, Ilene - He told me a few months ago that if it wasn't for you, he would have been in a nursing home a long time ago. You found all these trips that he was still able to do and give him something to look forward to. You truly were his angel, and, now he is ours. I'm so glad I got to see him last week, but so sad that didn't know it would be our last visit together. His struggles are now over, he tried so hard to stay with you, and I hope you can find some peace in knowing that you couldn't have done any more for him than you did.
