It is with great sadness that we say "see you later" to such a wonderful man. Jake will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his laughter, his kindness to everyone- human and animals, his optimistic personality and his crystal blue eyes. His love for his family Karen and daughter Kyla and his parents Lenny and Pat and brother Sam and partner Sara and niece and nephew, as well as all others in his life was so profound.
He will be terribly missed by all that had the pleasure to know him including my family Mike and Bonnie McLeod, Marijean, John, and myself Denise. He was well known in the community for his beautiful sense of what man kind should be like, a kindness like no other.
It is with regret that we will not be able to attend on Sunday, as we have our first memorial in Toronto for my sister Dawn who passed away suddenly last year , the same afternoon. You will be in our hearts and prayers always.

Jake was one the greatest kids that ever spent time in my home. He was kind, respectful, loving and full of life. Jake and my son Kevin were Best Buds, growing up in Port Dover. Jake was always part of our lives and we will miss him dearly.
Chico always had a special place in his heart for Jake and would be very saddened to hear that this young man, who had so much potential, has passed. Our hearts ache that Jake never was able to have the life he wanted and deserved.
