So sorry to hear of your loss. It has been many years since I met up with Linda but have lots of childhood memories at Ontario and William streets. Linda wrote many great letters to Mum and Dad and they always enjoyed hearing about her life and especially about Jess. I will be thinking of you all tomorrow.

Words can not tell you how sad I am with the passing of your amazing mom. Most of my childhood memories include you and her.
From my first trip on a train to Toronto, countless sleepovers, disney on ice, many theatre shows, beach days or just playing for hours. We spent so much time together it was clear you both were apart of our family.
Thank you for giving me the chance to say my good byes and share these memories with her last week.
She would glow when we spoke of you and with good reason. You were a fantastic daughter to her.

Lot's of love!

We are so sorry to hear of Linda Jane's death. She was one of the first people I met when we moved to Port Ryerse and was so darn welcoming. We always loved her enthusiasm and ready laugh. This certainly leaves a big hole in your life, Jess, and your kids' lives too. She was so proud of them! Sending you hugs.

What a lovely lady. I got to visit with her quite a few times, and even picked me flowers once and brought them to my baby shower. She talked about her granddaughter all the time, who made my boys their very first friendship bracelets.
Rest in peace Linda Jane.

Linda Jane aka "Lady Jane" who she will forever be in our family, came into my life 40 years ago. She visited us almost every summer and even came I think twice in the winter in Temagami, especially one memorable Christmas just after Mckenzie was born. . Her incredible sense of humour, her love of life and her laughter will forever be how I remember her. I will always remember when you, Jess, came into her life, you became the center of her world, and remained so right up until she took her last breath. And then you gave her Maddy..... a granddaughter to love and cherish, I remember when Memphis was born, she wondered if she would become as attached to a little boy, she soon figured out that you could. You three were what mattered most to her, and she could never get enough time with all of you.
She also loved her friends and to quote her on one visit to the hospital in the last month "I have had a good life because I have had really good friends" and we as her friends have been blessed to have had her in our life.
We will miss her!
Jess, I know she was incredibly proud of you. These last few months have been hard, and thank you for allowing me to walk with you through these very challenging times.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I knew Linda Jane in London when she was working for the Fellner's. She was a warm, kind woman and was easy to like. She was a good person. We wrote to each after that and planned to keep in touch. I always laughed when I'd get an Easter card and maybe a Christmas card in the summertime with an apology attached.
She loved to talk about her daughter and grandchildren. She loved her family.
Please accept my sympathy for your loss. In time, I hope the happy memories will comfort you and bring you peace.

Jessica, Carrie, Robert, Paul, and families : I was very sorry to learn of Linda's poor health and subsequent early passing at far too young an age. I remember good times when we played together when the families were visiting at Harold and Jennies home in Peterboro in the 1950s and visiting at Bill and Marg's home on King St. W. in Cobourg and of course the Mann picnics. We will all miss her ! (Cousin) Doug

Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss. I have so many fond memories of LJ. Didn't she throw the best birthday parties? She was the one you wanted to sit beside at parties if you wanted to laugh all night. She was so proud of her grandchildren and would light up when she spoke of them. She will be missed.
