hello, I was very sad to read in the Hamilton spectator of the passing of Susan. she became the president of the Provincial Federation of Women Teachers when I was teaching in Hamilton. She was a great role model for women starting out in their career. She was a force to be reckoned with, if you crossed her path. I always admired her convictions. In spite of her professional approach to many things, she often displayed her wonderful sense of humour. She touched a lot of lives and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
