Obituary of Marion Anstee

ANSTEE, Marion Elizabeth (nee Hammond) passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Norfolk General Hospital in her 78th year. Loving wife of John, dear mother of Vaughn (Deena) and Marilyn (Tommy) Jordan of Port Dover. Proud grandmother of Kaylie (Ryan), Ryleigh (Will) and Brendan. Adoring great-grandmother of Logan. Sadly missed by her brother Claire (Catherine) Hammond and brother-in-law David (Donna) Anstee and sister-in-law Lynda Anstee. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Mary, brothers-in-law Bill and Bob and sister-in-law Mary Lou. Marion was the secretary for the Port Dover Woodhouse Horticultural Society, enjoyed volunteering at the Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank and a long time member of Grace United Church. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Marion on Sunday July 3, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Funeral Service to celebrate Marion's life will be held on Monday July 4, 2016 at Grace United Church corners of Chapman and St. George Sts. at 11am. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating.
