Mary was the first person to welcome us to Port Dover and after we sold our house we often said that having her next door was what we missed most about our first house in town. Mary was always ready with a smile for me and treats for our dogs (Dobey and Maniche) as she referred to as "the boys". Heartbroken to hear of her passing. Thinking of Cathy, Lyndsay, Jacob, and Kassandra, and all who loved her.

My sincere sympathies to Cathy and family on the loss of your Mother. I worked at the Arbor with Mary in the 80's and she always remembered me and had a big smile and friendly hello for me. I will miss seeing her around town.

While my wife Lynda and I cannot be there for the funeral, we remember Aunt Mary and Uncle Art with fondness. We could not see them very often given the places we lived but whenever we did come to Port Dover, Uncle Art and Aunt Mary always made us feel welcome in their home - I do recall several times we enjoyed seeing them during the annual July 1 celebrations. One of my favorite aunts - I feel sorry for her passing. Gord (Bud) Gilmore
