I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's unexpected passing. She was my student in a Palliative Care course in Hamilton and never failed to mention this when we met. Ron and I sat with her at the Lion's Club Palliative Care session at the Port Dover Community Centre just last month. We will miss her.

I am new to the Ireland clan and only meet Linda a few times. I found her to be a sweet, loving and open hearted woman who always greeted me with a smile that was truly genuine. Randy has lots of stories of his time with Linda and is sad to have lost her so soon. She will be missed but remembered fondly. Our prayers are with her family and friends who will miss her. May god bless you Linda as you return to your beloved Edward.

No words of mine will supply the comfort and the strength which these days require. However, I could not let the day pass without letting you know how very deeply I am feeling the effects of this crushing news. I worked on Linda’s team in the Henderson ICU for many years. To say that I was fond of Linda would merely be the echo of any and all who ever knew her. She was a person whose courage I admired, whose wisdom I respected and whose humor /friendship I treasured. Goodbye Linda...met you early in my nursing career and a wonderful mentor you were!. Many shared memories of the West Haldimand Hospital and later at The Henderson Hospital were had by our close nursing family. I saw you as a very warm and compassionate nurse back in the day!! when we were able to actually spend time caring for our patients instead of doing endless paperwork! You were also a very knowledgeable and resourceful team leader who will be remembered fondly and missed by all of your former co-workers. I'm so sure that all carried over to family that you worked so hard got and cherished deeply. They were the lucky ones as were we. I'll smile when I think of you and remember fun times and shared memories of our wonderful Lake Erie. Enjoy a peaceful and well deserved rest Linda.
