Mary - We were very saddened to hear just recently of Trevor's passing in April. You and Trevor were great neighbours to us on Central Avenue in Grimsby. We miss hearing Trevor's friendly "hello neighbour". He was always willing to give a helping hand. We took some of the Bleeding Hearts from in between our houses and put it in our garden and will think of him when it blooms. We will always think of him whenever The Lancaster flies over our house. Mary, Richard & family, and Alex & family, We have almost 50 years of fun-filled memories with Trevor - too many to list here. Trevor will be sadly missed - with no more corny jokes, no more bright ideas for our many farm projects, and no more navigating through storms and shallow waters at Wolfe Island. We shared a trip down East in 1994 - a party of six souls - Trevor Mary and my family Sharon my wife Mark and Steven my sons. We travelled in a convoy of two vehicles "Miss Go-Lightly" and "Betsy" my Perkin's 4.203 diesel powered 109" station wagon. Miss Golightly pottered along at 40-45 mph and I followed. I pretty well did the 800 mile trip on a full tank (16 gallons) of diesel - so I claim something approaching 40 mpg - never to be repeated - since I normally drive at 50-55 mph and get 27mpg. My vehicle is very high geared with RR diffs and an overdrive. During the trip my sons rode along with Trevor.
We ended up in Portland Maine and were on show at the Owl's Nest museum as part of the display on airshow day.
Trevor was a lifelong Land Rover enthusiast like myself. He always willing to help any LR enthusiast in any way possible.
He made my sons feel very welcome.
My youngest son is Steven now 33 and I have owned Betsy 33 years. He was just six weeks old when I bought Betsy. The diesel was installed December 1985 and after 50,000 miles still runs as good as ever. Like me it does not like the cold, so usually she goes into hibernation for winter. However I do have a 3kw Kenlowe heater for special occasions in winter. This year I will doing some essential maintenance - I am debating whether to invest in a brand new chassis or patch the old one. I am waiting for the Canadian dollar to recover.
Trevor will be sadly me missed around various community endeavours he was involved in.

Our Dearest Mary Words cannot express our deepest sympathy for the loss of who we deem one of the most unique gentlemen we have ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with in our lives.
