Alannah & Alexa, I am thinking of you and your family in this difficult time. Someone once asked if I would ever stop missing my mom, and I told them, that you will miss her everyday, but you learn to live with the empty space that is left. I never met you or Dawn face to face, but through the years you all became a daily part of my life, and losing her, has left an empty spot in my life, that is nothing compared to the hole that is in yours. So my thoughts for the two of you are these: Dawn loved you every day, and she was so proud of you and everything the two of you were and are doing with your lives. She was always there for me, and everyone that needed her, and she always will be. My prayers and support will be here for you anytime you need them, because she was and always will be there as well.

Dear Denise. I was so sorry to hear of your sisters passing. I saw your Mom and dad at my moms funeral in November 2014. I grew up with your dad. Your grandparents Mary and Johnny were friends of my parents. When I saw them at my moms funeral I hadn't seen your dad for decades. It was wonderful that they came. They are wonderful people, and I loved your grandparents. I am wishing you strength and love through this sad time.

My mom and Dawn's mom were friends from WAY back. We made the trip from Hamilton to Port Dover a few times. Dawn would let me tag along with her to the rink. One time we were passing through while a game was going on and a puck landed at our feet. She picked it up and popped it in her pocket and kept walking. It was pretty funny.
