Obituary of Guy Gilchrist

GILCHRIST, Guy Richard passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday September 12, 2015 in his 69th year. Dear father of Darcy (wife Cara-Dawn) of Huntsville, David of Barrie and Brad ( wife Brandy) Baker of Florida, grandfather of Austin Cooper Baker and Emma Elizabeth Baker. Also survived by sister-in-law Katharine Cebulak of Simcoe, nephew John Gilchrist, niece Veronica (Brian) Waslowski and their children. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Rhoda and brother John. Guy was an avid boater and a member of the Port Dover Yacht Club. He had a living passion for his family, his hometown, his horse farm and ultimately to be by the water. He enjoyed collecting sea shells and making jewelry out of them. In keeping with Guy's wishes cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date in Port Dover. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (5619)-583-1530.
