We were so lucky to share a lot of good laughs, good fun, and good racing with Terry. He loved every minute of it and it always showed. When things didn't go our way he would always find a way to put things in perspective for the rest of us. He was also a very good babysitter for us sometimes and took care of us when we were unable to care for ourselves. A1 truck driver and A1 guy.
Thanks to Shirley and the boys for sharing him with us, we were very lucky to have him. Our thought are with you today.

Terry will be sadly missed. Terry made a profound impact on my childhood by either being a part of, or by telling numerous stories of the adventures that he and my father (Phil Colwill) got up to in their youth. Additionally, my step-mother, Sharon Parkinson was able to add to the legend that was Terry Parkinson. Terry, you are considered a brother to my Father, and a sister to my step-mother, and I cannot wait to hear the stories once again. Our thoughts are with the family in this difficult time.
