BLAKE, TERENCE "TERRY" BLAKE, Terence "Terry" of Port Dover, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 in his 78th year at Norfolk General Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mona (2009). Cherished father and father-in--law of Paul and Kelley and Wayne all of Port Dover, Charles and Shelley, Nancy and Wayne Swan all of Port Ryerse. Loving grandfather of Justin, Darby, Kelsey, Tasha, Shannon, Shane, Joshua, Jennifer, Neil and Daniel. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Josephine and Robert Mummery of Wheatley, Ruth and Erland Lampman of Port Dover and Judy and Lawson Webb of Hagersville. Predeceased by his sons, Scott and Neil and his brother John. Terry was a Port Dover Merchant, he with his wife Mona was the owner/operator of Blake's Texaco for 20 years. He was an active community member, serving in many areas, he was a past president of the Kinsmen Club, former Captain of the Port Dover Fire Department, and member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Terry at visitation on Monday, May 9, 2011, 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519-583-1530). Parish Prayers at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11 am at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Lynn Park Rd., Port Dover.
