I have many fond memories of Uncle Rick, taking me to hockey as a kid, and coming to play golf in Napanee. He always lit up the room with his laugh and jokes. My condolences to Aunt Mia, Meegan and Eric.

My sincere condolences to Mia,Eric and Megan. Sorry for your loss. Rick was a great baseball coach of mine of 4 years while playing for the Oakville Jr A’s. Always trying to encourage us to be our best. Some of my best memories are with him as coach and the numerous players on our team. Thanks Rick

Mia, Eric and Megan, please accept my deepest condolences to you and your extended families. Had the great pleasure of working along side of Rick when he was with the Oakville A’s Juniors way back in the early ‘70s. Shared a few beers and tequila with him after our Thursday night home games and White Oaks Park. Later saw a lot of Rick at the local arenas, as we both watched our sons play for the Burlington Rep teams. Saw him at “The Joe”, when Eric was playing for the Jr. Red Wings and my son was backing up for the Soo. I have great deal of fond memories of Rick, may he RIP.

Sincere condolences to Mia your family’s and close friends. Rick coached our Oakville Peewee team in 1972/73 ? He was a fabulous fair coach and mentor! We attended many tournaments but the CNE Peewee tournament stood out as a highlight. R.I.P. Rick

Mia & family: I am saddened to hear of Rick’s passing and send my condolences. Although it has been too long since we last saw each other, I fondly remember Rick’s baseball coaching for the Oakville Jr. A’s and his perspective and good humour. He genuinely enjoyed it alll and made it fun for us. I am also thankful and fortunate to have had you for my Grade 4 teacher at St. Mary’s - you were very patient to say the least.
