Obituary of William Whitton

~~WHITTON, William "Bill" of Port Dover passed away surrounded with love and comfort at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, on Friday July 7 2017 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Joyce (1999).  Dearly loved father of William Jr. of Simcoe and Brent and Jennifer of Port Ryerse. Cherished grandfather of Noah and Adam. Dear brother and always remembered by Nancy, Bob, Carole, Susan, John, Jim, Rick, Randy, Kathleen, Phillip and their families. Forever remembered and loved by very special friends, Laraine, Dave and Deana.  Predeceased by his parents Norman and Thelma and siblings Margaret, Ted and Terrance. Bill was involved with accounting and tax preparation in the area for almost 60 years, including operating his own business for many years. Bill enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading, watching sports and being with his family. Bill had a keen intellect, a quick wit and a great sense of humour. He was always happiest when his mind was being challenged. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life in Bill's memory at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #158, Market St. Port Dover on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
