Obituary of John MacDonald

MACDONALD, John Rowell. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Rowell MacDonald after a brief illness on Friday September 30, 2016 in his 65th year. He is survived by his best friend and wife Lee, his loving daughter Tori, son-in-law Jordan White and treasured granddaughter Emma. He will be forever missed by his loving sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law Richard Hickman and family. He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Kim, brothers-in-law Jay and Robin Hitchon and families. Predeceased by his parents Rowell and Christena MacDonald and sister Marie. John loved watching his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews grow up. He cheered them on in whatever they were passionate about and he was always thankful for Brydon, Trevor and Adam, for watching out for his baby girl, Tori. John will be greatly missed by his loyal sidekick, his dog, Sam. A private graveside service will take place. Friends are invited to a Mingle and Remember at the Port Dover Royal Canadian Legion Branch #158 on Friday October 7, 2016 from 2pm to 6pm.
