MUTH, SHIRLEY ANNETTE MUTH, Shirley (nee Forrest) of Port Dover, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at her home, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends, Shirl will once again be with the love of her life, Leroy Phibbs (2008). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Robert Ivey of Port Dover, Barb Morris (John) of Jarvis and Terri Ivey of Port Dover, step mother of Scott Muth of Montreal, Mark Barrowcliffe of Brantford, Nancy Muth (Peter) of Quebec and Tammy Beauvais (Dave) of Brantford. Loving grandmother of Miranda, Josh, Haley, Jesse, Jeremy, Hayden, Clyde, Hunter, Skylar, Zack, Drew, Tashina, Alex, Jessica and Nicholas, great grandmother of Wyatt. Dear sister and sister-in-law of George, Chuck, Nancy & George, Viola &Tony and Pat. Will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Gordon, Ed, Raymond, Bob and Bev, and sister-in-law Linda. Shirley was hardworking all her life and was employed by many Port Dover merchants. She loved her large family and wide circle of friends. For many years Shirley played ball with Peggy's Pirates. She loved to putter in her garden and enjoyed bonfires on the beach. Her crazy sense of humour, (which she passed on to her children) was loved by all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Friday December, 3, 2010 from 7 pm to 9 pm (evening only). A Service to Celebrate Shirley's life will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1 pm at Grace United Church (Chapman & St. George Sts). The Reverend Murray Rounding officiating. Cremation to follow.
